Originally called Static for obvious reasons and because of the last line in Get Up and Go. A friend of mine started referring to it as Machine Gun Rodeo, clearly a much more evocative and unusual title. The irony is that of all the lines in the song, this was the one I wasn't entirely happy with and spent some time trying to replace it until finally coming to terms with it.

Clearly some sort of deterioration in world affairs in happening.
